![]() ![]() Will you need an outboard audio card for your Mic and sends to speakers/PA. How many songs in your set? How many sets? What type of gig - quite in the corner of a restaurant doing some covers or in your face originals?ģ. So the rest will have to be rendered audio or locked SW tracks.Ģ. Fundamentally you are stuck with playing only 1 software instrument at a time. What type of MIDI controller will you use? Do you want to just play keys or do you want to control the transport buttons and perhaps track vol sliders? What about muting tracks? Do you want to use a mouse on stage? You would have to decide how many tracks per song you will need including vocal processing (assuming you want GB to help there). You would have to test your rig out and rehearse a bit before you would come to the conclusion that its not an option.įrom your brief description you would have to consider some of the following (as a start to the discussion)ġ. There is a decent list of things to consider but I think you could easily use GB to play Live performances of varying degrees. In term of latency, how is GB's latency different from other SW programs when it comes to playing Audio? Where is someone who can speak first hand about having GB crash on them mid set? Certainly stability and latency have never been mentioned except for Chris's comment. Not once has anybody withĪctual experience ever chimed in and shared their success or lack thereof or listed their rig or whatever road blocks they had. I have been hanging out on this forum coming up 18 months and this topic has come up a few times. This could be a great topic of discussion because I think there is a bit of nonsense floating around about this topic. ![]()
